Looking at Tristan Rice before actually watching him play, you would assume that he your typical wide, slow, undersized center that just used for setting screens or getting a few rebounds. That however is completely not the case when discussing Tristan Rice. What stands out about Rice is surprisingly his good ball handling skills. He is very good at taking defenders off the dribble and is able to change gears using hesitation moves even use a crossover move that can get him to the basket off the bounce. He utilized this very well at SimpsonElite Runs. He has great size to finish in the paint over both shoulders and is able to hit the outside shot. He does a great job of using his body and sealing defenders for the easy layup.
