Black has great size, good mobility and the speed to blow pass defenders. Black showed numerous of times at SimpsonElite Runs that she knows how to use her body to shield off defenders from stopping her. The returning Senior is a forward who does pretty much everything you need from a great player. She rebounds, create for her and others, can defend 1-4, can make open shots and does the little things. Black showcased her defensive abilities by capping off 3 steals reading the passing lanes and taking the ball full length to finish with a score. Black can score on all three levels. She has great hands to catch the ball in the paint and has a great feel around the basket to finish with either hand. The senior ability to step out and hit jump shots is what will free her up for more opportunities to score. Im looking forward to seeing how Black step into the leadership role at Warren this upcoming winter season.
